Our Story
Liberians in Jacksonville started in 2018 when a small group of neighbours realised that the resources and relationships they needed were already around them — they just needed a structure to bring them together. What began as monthly coffee chats has grown into a thriving organisation that serves thousands of members.
Today we organise events, maintain a rich resource library, and provide a platform for discussions that matter. Our work is driven entirely by volunteers and the generosity of our members.
2018
Founded with 12 founding members and a shared vision.
2019
First annual summit attracted 150 attendees.
2021
Launched virtual programs, reaching members nationally.
2023
Surpassed 300 active members.
